Quinn Evans principal Saundra Little, FAIA, LEED AP, NOMA, has been named the 2025-2026 President-Elect of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA).
The announcement was made during the 2024 NOMA eXchange Conference in Baltimore. As President-Elect, Saundra advances her commitment to further NOMA’s mission to foster inclusion and amplify underrepresented voices in architecture.
As a principal and Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Quinn Evans, Saundra brings over two decades of architectural expertise and a deep commitment to fostering diversity within the profession. Through leadership in NOMA’s Detroit chapter and as a national board member she has championed mentorship programs across firms and expanded opportunities for architects of color.
Saundra is an award-winning architect and a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the organization’s highest honor for an individual’s exceptional work and contributions to architecture and society. She is among the few Black women in Michigan to receive this prestigious recognition.
Saundra’s work includes transformative projects in Detroit, such as the award-winning renovation of the Love Building; the 20th Century African American Civil Rights Sites documentation project that has raised awareness and unlocked funding opportunities for more than 80 buildings across the city; and the adaptive reuse of a former municipal office building to serve as The Mosaic, an upcoming food hall and business accelerator in Eastern Market.
