Quinn Evans, a leading national historic preservation, planning and design firm, announced the promotion of three professionals to associate: Daniel Clunis, AIA, LEED Green Associate, Fitwel Amb., in the Ann Arbor, MI, office, and Thalia Chrousos, AIA, Fitwel Amb., and Stefan Zastawski, RA, in the Washington, DC, office.
Daniel Clunis, AIA, LEED GA, Fitwel Amb., develops creative solutions for the design of cultural and community-driven projects. He has served as a designer for the renovation of the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC, for the Smithsonian Institution and the new State Street Dining Pavilion for The Henry Ford in Dearborn, MI. Clunis is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the U.S. Green Building Council. Clunis holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (2014) and a Master of Architecture (2018) from the University of Michigan. He joined Quinn Evans in 2017.
Thalia Chrousos, AIA, Fitwel Amb., joined Quinn Evans in 2016. With 12 years of experience, her work focuses on projects in the cultural realm, such as the recently opened Heritage Hall at the Michigan State Capitol in Lansing, MI, and the upcoming Lincoln Memorial visitor center in Washington, DC. Chrousos is a member of the AIA and holds a Bachelor of Architecture (2011) from Cornell University.
Stefan Zastawski, RA, brings 28 years of experience in the analysis, renovation, and restoration of historic buildings. Since joining Quinn Evans in 2019, he has contributed to innovative design solutions for projects including the McMillan Community Center and Park and the Daughters of the American Revolution Constitution Hall in Washington, DC. Zastawski is a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Association for Preservation Technology, and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (1992), a certificate in Historic Preservation (1995), and a Master of Architecture (1995) from the University of Maryland.
