As the school year begins, we want to thank our incredible interns for the hard work, creativity, and enthusiasm they brought to our team!
This summer, our “Quinnterns” collaborated with our experienced team to take on cross-disciplinary challenges and work on real-world projects across architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, and other disciplines. They gained exclusive behind-the-scenes insights on topics they won't find in a classroom.
This summer’s Quinnterns came from universities across the country, including Central Michigan University, Howard University, Pennsylvania State University, University of Detroit Mercy, University of Maryland, University of Michigan, University of Pennsylvania, University of Texas at Austin, University of Virginia, and Virginia Tech.
Watch the video below to hear reflections from a handful of our 2024 Quinnterns: Dani Bogdanovic, Alan Watts, Farah Ossaimee, Julia Drooff, Zia Mohajerzadeh, Paige Werman, Zannatun Alim, Catherine Lobash, and Phoenix Morrison.

DANI BOGDANOVIC
Being a Quinntern has been the most fun experience I have had in an internship.
ALAN WATTS
I was really excited to work at Quinn Evans this summer as a summer Quinntern because of all the cool types of projects they do like historic restoration and cultural and public spaces.
FARAH OSSAIMEE
I'm very grateful for my experience. I'm grateful for everybody who I got to meet and everybody who I got to talk to.
JULIA DROOFF
I decided to intern at Quinn Evans to gain more exposure to historic preservation projects and federal projects like the Air and Space Museum.
ZIA MOHAJERZADEH
I was working as a building performance intern, and I had a chance to work with Thomas Elementary School and do some lighting analysis for that.
PAIGE WERMAN
My favorite experience during my internship at Quinn Evans was doing a punch list for Virginia Union University since I was working on a site plan rendering for the project. And so it was cool to see the drawings come to life.
ZANNATUN ALIM
Being able to visit the different sites on the projects that we're working on and being able to see how each project is at a different phase in construction.
CATHERINE LOBASH
Being able to go on site visits, rep meetings, client meetings, as well as participate in a variety of different project work.
PHOENIX MORRISON
Being a Quinntern involves being quickly brought up to speed to work on challenging projects.
DANI BOGDANOVIC
I get to work on so many different types of projects and get to learn so much from my coworkers. I've met great people that are in architecture and other fields such as marketing, interiors, and it's been a great experience to get to learn so many people in the profession.
