The Michigan Central Station redevelopment project won the 2023 CoStar Impact Award for redevelopment of the year in Detroit. Quinn Evans is providing architectural services on this effort in partnership with Ford Land Development, The Christman Company, and PAU.
CoStar's Impact Awards highlight the commercial real estate transactions and projects that have transformed their markets over the past year. The winners are chosen by independent panels of industry professionals who work in the markets they judge.
The Michigan Central Station positions Detroit and Ford as a major tech hub. The focus on renovation of an iconic landmark into the technology platform for Ford is incredible and hopefully becomes the standard for tech campus redevelopments in Detroit.

Collaborating closely with Ford, we’re leading a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, historians, and conservation specialists to rehabilitate the monumental structure. The renewed Station will house a dynamic mix of cutting-edge office, retail, and public space. Additionally, it will serve as the flagship for Ford’s Corktown innovation district, a place for research and development in the rapidly evolving field of mobility.
