Ann Dilcher, AIA, LEED AP, a Principal at Quinn Evans, will deliver the keynote address at Texas A&M University’s 26th Annual Historic Preservation Symposium.
The symposium, organized by the Texas A&M College of Architecture Center for Heritage Conservation, will take place February 21-22, 2025. It will bring preservation professionals, scholars, and students together to explore innovative approaches to protecting and revitalizing historic places.
Dilcher’s keynote, titled “A Future Forward Preservation Approach: Preparing Existing Buildings for the Future through Reuse, Relevance, and Resilience,” will explore how preservation is a critical tool for adapting existing and historic buildings to address modern challenges like climate change, socio-political changes, and evolving community needs.
