Colin is intrigued with wisely incorporating emerging technologies, such as energy harvesting, into public buildings. He finds immense satisfaction in seeing the design of public museums through the eyes of the children, families, or individuals visiting. In his work on the NASM museum, Colin had to learn the mission of the museum, how it educates its visitors, and subsequently translate that understanding into durable architecture that would enhance the museum’s identity. He loves this challenge of finding elegant solutions to complex problems.
