A new learning hub for students at one of the nation’s top research universities, the new Academic Learning Commons boasts a variety of learning landscapes that promotes new tools to educate and inspire.

Understanding that learning extends beyond the classroom, our team wove together a balance of formal and informal spaces and entwined breakout spaces throughout the complex to foster student engagement in a vibrant atmosphere. Intentionally designed as a collaborative space, we created a mix of large and small venues that supports varied teaching methods and stimulates students and staff to creatively and effectively share ideas and successfully work together.
