Dr. Mindy Thompson Fullilove, MD, is an award-winning social psychiatrist and professor of Urban Policy and Health at The New School. Her research focuses on the ways social and environmental factors affect the mental health of communities. Dr. Fullilove is the author of several books, including Urban Alchemy: Restoring Joy in America’s Sorted Out Cities and Root Shock: How Tearing Up City Neighborhoods Hurts America and What We Can Do About It. She is an honorary member of the American Institute of Architects.
Saundra Little, AIA, LEED AP, NOMA is Director of Diversity & Inclusion and a principal in the Quinn Evans Detroit office. She specializes in the revitalization of the urban realm, advocating for the preservation of the unique heritage of local neighborhoods. Saundra’s transformative designs include infill developments, renovations, and adaptive use projects that enhance community resilience and the economic and long-term value of properties.
Carl Elefante, FAIA, FAPT is Quinn Evans Principal Emeritus. The former president of the AIA, he is a longtime champion of sustainable design and stewardship and a pioneer in design concepts for historic and environmental preservation.
