Chris Harrison, AIA, LEED Green Associate, was tapped as a subject matter expert in education projects by Metal Roofing Magazine. The resulting article, “Roofing in Education: The View From the Architect’s Desk,” explores the challenges and opportunities of metal roofing for K-12 and higher education design.
In a publication primarily geared toward roofing contractors, Chris provides insight into the reasoning behind architects’ designs and specifications for roofing. The article is illustrated with images of our Woodlands Stewardship Education Center for the Fairfax County Park Authority, which was also featured in the magazine as an idea book project.
