Chris Ambridge, AIA, has joined Quinn Evans as a senior architect. A skilled project manager and designer with more than 20 years of experience, Chris brings a passion for the comprehensive design of education spaces. His award-winning portfolio includes transformative renovations of existing and historic K-12 facilities, many of them for District of Columbia Public Schools.
A hallmark of Chris’ work is the integration of distinctive yet compatible modern interventions into historic fabric. Having worked in the Washington, DC, area for many years, Chris is experienced in navigating stringent regulatory review processes and engaging effectively with community stakeholders to create vibrant educational spaces that facilitate learning and enhance student well-being.
Chris holds a Diploma in Architecture (1999) and Master of Architecture (1996) from Cambridge University. He is a registered architect in Washington, DC. He currently serves on AIA|DC’s Committee on Architecture for Education.
