Reclaiming part of the historic City Post Office building, our team carefully balanced modern museum requirements with the structure’s historic character to create a dynamic and engaging new gallery in the National Postal Museum. A former restaurant provided the space needed to transform the venue into the world’s largest philatelic gallery, featuring a mezzanine Learning Loft, the Wall of Stamps, and the meticulously restored Postmaster’s Suite.

We carefully integrated new gallery entryways into the historic lobby with permanent and traveling exhibition areas that invite and encourage visitors to move throughout the museum experience. New windows enhance daylight and provide climate control while colorful, back-lit images giving the museum a vibrant street-level presence with impact.
