In close collaboration with artist/architect Hiroshi Sugimoto, Quinn Evans is working to renew the Hirshhorn’s iconic Sculpture Garden for a new generation of visitors. The transformative renovation of the Garden will strengthen the museum’s connection to the National Mall, showcase its unique collection of modern sculpture, and create a dynamic space for outdoor performance art. The revitalized garden will welcome visitors to experience and engage with art within an accessible public space.

Under Quinn Evans’ leadership, the team is working to document and realize the design. The ambitious project has gained the approval of the Commission of Fine Arts and the National Capital Planning Commission.
